WTB Manual D Needing Extensive Work
I sold 1669 so I need a new project D.
I'm looking for a 5 speed needing extensive mechanical and/or electrical work.
It must have decent frame, stainless panels and interior.
...missing/blown engine/transmission etc, no problem.
Please PM me with serious replies.

A new project D.? Does this mean 1669 was a project D.? How long does it take to complete such a project and is it worth it financially?

Yes, it was a project, to fill in regular mechanical work. (But I would probably keep the next one.)
Hard to say how long it takes -- It depends on what the car needs... I did about everything but frame strip and rebuild the engine with 1669. Sometimes it sat for months. I didn't keep track of the time, but wrote down what I would charge for the work and parts as I went along...
It was well worth it for me.
I'm not having any luck with another D, so I am leaning heavily toward frame stripping a 66 GTO I have stored in the back of one of my sheds instead (just have to unbury it ;-)
