You think it might have been unintentional odometer fraud, so to speak? Like if a faulty speedo gauge got replaced with a new one that started at 0,000, or maybe someone was in there replacing a broken trip rest shaft and a couple numbers got turned accidently, so the solution was to roll it back to zero? I'm with you on it not making any sense to purposely go back a couple thousand when it was only 4,500 in the first place.
