Also, please note that the tach may need about 1-2 degrees of rotation clockwise, and the speedo only needs at most 1 degree of rotation clockwise. In addition, the entire background should be extended down a few millimeters to cover up any imperfections in the cluster housing.

Anyone can use the file as they please, just please leave me some credit. This project took many hours to get where it is.

I'm reposting a few of the pictures in the thread. I'm using Dropbox because photobucket decided to say "f**k you!"

Also here's a short video of the cluster while driving down the road.

I was considering using the stock guages and putting those flat led strips behind this kind of thing....any thoughts on that?

No transparency on the stock gauges. Must be lit from the front.

Right but if I get one of these made with the right plastic, I can string the led's behind it and if it all in front of the existing guage panel

When I get a chance, I'll make a picture showing what I mean

Gotcha. Better make sure the plastic diffuses light well with no hot spots and nothing to get in the way causing hard shadows.

Yeah, I'll have to play with different materials...there's some nice diffusing plastics used for starship models that might do the trick on that
