So I am at the exact middle point of my suspension/steering/brake overhaul. Everything is out of the car(compressed springs and didn't die! yippeee). The only moving/wearing part that I don't have new versions on hand are the front ball joints, both upper and lower. They seem to play somewhat normally; there's a stiffness, but it doesn't feel too abnormal, maybe slightly "chunky" on one or two? So, as much as I don't wanna spend another $200 on parts, it does seem prudent for me to consider new ball joints how, as literally everything else is new, and I'm never gonna disassemble this thing again. Any thoughts on new vs old when it comes to ball joints while I'm in there? Thanks!
