This week I installed a Four Seasons 35582 blower motor on 5052. It spins in the correct direction with no wiring modifications and has the correct vent tube. For all intents and purposes it appears identical to the stock A/C Delco unit.
The total cost was less than $30.
The part crosses to a 1980 Chevy Monza V6, with A/C, with vent tube.
