Expo or bust! Made it from SLC to Coeur d'Alene today, which I'm pretty sure is the most miles I've ever put on it in one day.

Scenic sights of Idaho and Montana :

Caught up with my buddy at the Tesla charging station at a mom & pop restaurant in Lima, MT:

The bug population of the mountain states has been drastically reduced :

Got one decent shot before the rain started and I found out how inadequate my wipers are in light rain and road spray :

Got a decent one out the side window :

    Finally got into town...

... At which point I should have paid more attention to my GPS because I missed the turn for my hotel and in an effort to make a u-turn at the next light, realized too late that what I thought was a left turn lane rapidly became a center median. It wouldn't have been so bad if there hadn't been a cop behind me. Fortunately he let me off with a reminder to stay on the road . Must have liked my car. He was cute, too.

It was raining pretty good by the time I got to the motel so hopefully it washes some of the crud off in time for the meet up. Stay tuned...

Most excellent! Love that you're not letting it become a garage queen. I love road trips.

Awesome. Looks like a nice trip. No issues, I hope? Did you get a pic of the median you drove onto? Always a fun pic to get would be the cop having pulled you over...hehe.

Thanks, guys! I'm glad my travelogues are still entertaining somebody besides myself (and the future insurance adjuster who's demanding proof that I really put 6000 miles a year on my car without daily driving it).

After the Expo I drove out to Seattle to visit a friend, didn't check my FB messages or there would have been more DeLoreans in these pix...

Hit the road for home after dinner. The sky was ominous...

Stopped for the night at Motel 6...

All in all, pretty awesome trip. Made it there and back without a tow truck, so we're doing pretty good

Hang in there, buddy! When you get her back on the road, it'll all be worth it!

I've been too busy working to go on very many trips since Expo, but I did take it on a couple of fun runs...

DSCF4307.jpg Another trip out to Wendover with my BFF for my birthday, found a scenic photo spot behind the Montego Bay. Made it back without any disasters, hooray!

DSCF4187.jpg Down to Provo for ice cream at Brooker's.

IMG_20190822_202710.jpg Celebrating my 3rd DeLoreanniversary with a photoshoot in the parking lot at work.

IMG_20190822_231949224.jpg Hit the big 4-2 on my way home last night, doubling my mileage since the night I first got it in 3 years (almost to the minute!)

It passed emissions on the first try this year, but while testing they found that it's got a misfire, so now I have to try and get it sorted out in time to drive to DeLorean Weekend. Hope I'll see some of you there!
