Heh, I'll be retired by then so I'll be home to babysit your car if you want to go skiing.

Today I got to drive my car in a parade. I'm not even sure what the parade was for, but our club pres asked last night if I wanted to be in it and I said on the 1% chance that I was awake before 9 am, maybe. I accidentally woke up a 7:00 and couldn't go back to sleep so I figured I might as well do something productive, LOL.

It didn't end up being an actual DeLorean caravan b/c his wife had their Marty truck in between our cars, but it was definitely a new and interesting experience. I had to stay vigilant not to run over his assistants who were running around handing out candy to the kids and chiropractor coupons to the parents. It made me smile how many little girls were waving and cheering. Hopefully they were inspired to get their own DeLoreans someday.

Mine were in pretty decent shape but I figured I should keep the sun off them and keep my pants-rivets from scuffing them up. I couldn't bring myself to spend $700 for the really nice ones so I got the cheap ones on clearance at Wal-Mart. So far, so good

    DaraSue and 10907's excellent adventure

A former original owner I know had Sheep skins on his seats for 30 years. One day he showed up at an event and I asked if he had gotten new seat covers. He said, they were the originals. They looked brand new very soft and supple. All those years under the skins kept them out of the sun. The car had over 100k on it too. No garage queen.
