New 9 way 3mm pin connectors

I bought these 9 way pin connectors for the TVR run sensor I sell (not a DeLorean product).

These connectors and pins are made by AMP and are a little different than our stock round pin connectors. The pins are a little shorter so you probably should not use the pins in the stock connectors. The AMP connectors with the male pins do mate correctly with our stock female connectors. Also the new pins only seem to crimp all the wire strands up to 16 AWG. The stock pins work up to 12 AWG.

I was using Britishwiring.com, the connectors and pins are interchangeable with the pieces on the car.

^Seconded. I re-pinned my fuel pump and sender connections with one of their products and it was spot on.

I used a lot of these pins during my electrical restorations/efi conversion:

I have a set of OEM fans that use the AMP pins and connectors on the fan motors stock wiring.

I was setting up some fan testing and decided to attach a set of OEM fans to my car so I was going to add some more wire length to those fan motors.

My pin extractor does not work on those AMP pins. You cannot install the Riste pins into the connector.

I guess it was just the fan motors to use the AMP pins.

I do not see any of the 3mm pins or sockets that would work with our stock connectors on that site.

AMP pins have one locking tab, are shorter and only work up to 16 AWG.

Reste pins (used in the D) have two locking tabs and work up to 12 AWG.

I did buy the Riste pins in the past from britishwiring.com but looks like they no longer sell those.

Can anyone recommend a crimper to use with the pins from autosparks?

    Thanks!

Just do a search for ( open barrel crimper tool ) plenty to be found in the $20-$30 range.

Here’s one that should work for you at reasonable price.
