Interior Stripping...

Im stripping out the carpet and stuff to put down insulation...and kinda stuck....

How do you remove the carpet thats right behind the seats? I didnt want to just start pulling at it...and i seems to be attached to a panel that it removable?

It is stapled to this wooden board in several places.
The only way to remove this is to gently pull up the carpet until a staple is blocking. Use a small srewdriver and pry the staple out. Repeat about 30 times.
Do not pull until something gives, unless you do not want to reuse the carpet.

Thanks. Yeah, I didnt just start pulling cause I'm hoping to avoid adding interior carpet to my list at this time (not that mine are in great shape)...lol

Got all the old material out...and wondering whats the best way to clean off the remaining bits that are being a pain with a scraper to get off?

Im just glad that the ones back in the cubbies on the sides came off easy..scraping in there is nigh impossible...lol
