    Thanks Dave, I just tried removing the relay and it works like a charm. How do I know if there are switching regulators in the LEDs? I ordered mine from DMC, they look like this one.

    Look at the back side of the LED. The switching regulators have large caps and inductors (large cylinders). As far as I know, only Super Bright sell some LEDs with the switching regulators. None of the LEDs door, dome, trunk, engine bay and glove box can be switching regulator type.
