Michael, great story. As a relatively new owner, I feel the same way. Clearly you've hit on common themes for many owners here.
As I tell everyone, I've never seen my car not bring a smile to a face.
Thank you.

Someone once card up and asked to take a picture followed up with "I bet you get tired of hearing that" I said only the bttf jokes get old. I've actually been surprised how often people don't want to get in my car for pictures.
I completely agree with it being essentially a great icebreaker. unless I'm heading to work I'll talk nonstop to strangers that come up to the car.

Great read...
Im of the mind that these are cars..special cars, yeah...but they should be enjoyed.
Even when I was dragging' mine up here from vegas on a trailer, I enjoyed talking with folks at gas stations n rest stops about the car....oddly I didn't get any bttf jokes oil I got back up here.
Of course I think even most of the neighbors have forgotten I even have the car cause she hasn't come outta the garage in over a year now.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I enjoy writing but it's more enjoyable when it's about my dream car. Makes it much easier when you just write about your own experiences.
