    That may be the attraction.

Belfast of 2016 looked nothing like Belfast of 1976, due to the involuntary and rather sudden building renovation program of the 80s and 90s. . In fact when other film makers wanted to shoot a film about 70s Belfast, they had to do it Blackburn England. Doesn't say much for Blackburn, mind you.

    Hi All,

Some great news to announce today. The film I'm Producing on John continues to move along and in doing so, we picked up an amazing actor in Alec Baldwin to portray John in some select narrative scenes that will be shot and intertwined throughout the documentary.

    Announcements can be read here:

I'm excited to be presenting this movie to the DeLorean community in 2018. It is shaping up to be something pretty special, that should appeal to DMC folks and to an audience who does not know the story behind this fascinating person who has changed all of our lives by creating this amazing car.

    Best,

    Hey George,

The film will be released in Theaters for its first run, and then will make its way to other subscription platforms, cable, etc and will be available for rent or purchase on blu-ray and DVD eventually. There will be plenty of ways to see the film.

    Best,
    Tamir

This is just awesome news! So glad to see this project with some fire behind it. I may have to drive to a big city just to watch it but I will.

    Glad to hear it.

Make sure you get Liam Neeson a role in it somewhere - great local accent for the factory, plus his special set of skills, and he's just announced that he's giving up action movies, so he'll have plenty of time.

Great make-up work on Alec in the Variety article photo.

Would have been even better with a triple split screen photo: Alec / Alec as JZD / JZD in similar pose

Sorry, this is all I could come up with quickly, with very limited photo editing tools (and limited photos).

Everyone will be blown away with how amazing the transformation of Alec into JZD looks by the talented SNL folks we are lucky enough to have on board the picture. It is truly breathtaking to see them work their magic.
