    Is this multiple wires or a single one? It is definitely melted through, but wiring it back up off the manifold into its hanger made no change in the engine miss. Perhaps there are multiple wires and are now touching each other? That wire is so hard to get to!

    Mine was melted also. I guess putting that metal plate back on is a pain so it was left sitting on the exhaust.
