    MOMO Steering wheel adapter

Well, I have a nice MOMO wheel but waited too long to buy the MOMO adapter from Houston or from Mike at Midwest . No longer available anywhere that I can find.
Anyone have one for sale? Anyone have the DMC insert that mounts on the horn pad?
    Thanks!

    Fiero steering wheel adapter

Check out my adapter in post 16 and 18 of this thread

To add more clearance from the wiper arm I used stainless metric flat pan head machine screws and aluminum spacers from the specialty bin in the hardware aisle at Home Depot / Lowes. You can use a series of nuts threaded onto the bolt as a spacer too but it takes more time to get all six screws all the same length.

Another option is to just buy an adapter that will fit a Pontiac Fiero and mono wheel.

    Good luck.

Hey, thanks! I had missed the Fiero connection-something new to explore.

    9/16-36 Splines for Steering Column

Interesting find on the Woodward Steering site... 9/16-36 (or .563-36) used for "Jack Knight & Titan racks, Ariel Atom, and dragsters".

I believe the issue with the Fiero adapter is clearance and turn signal cancellation.

    Triumph TR4-6 & GT6 as a steering wheel fit?

I found a number of references suggesting the Triumph (TR4, TR5, TR6, GT6 (All Years)) all have a 9/16 inch diameter and 36 spline at the steering wheel hub. I'm checking with a Triumph guru friend in the UK to find out for sure (can't trust anything on the Interwebs).

    Patrick

You are correct the Fiero adapter brings the steering wheel closer to the turn signal lever, however if you utilize the spacers/nuts I mentioned one can customize the clearance needed...but you are correct that is the biggest drawback.
