Thanks for sharing! Was great to see visuals with explanations of what goes wrong and options for repairs (and some critiques of those repairs). Much appreciative of the folks who made it and uploaded it!

Wow - a documented 136 mph Delorean record! Would love to include you on the FastestDeloreanInTheWorld.com list of contenders! Do you have a video or link to that info? Sounds like an awesome bar to set for us!

As someone who dailies his Delorean, this was a rather stressful video.

Interesting video. Most everything he mentions I've been addressing since i got my car, or is already on my list to have checked/fixed up at DMCNW when I get to that point. Definitely some good info...I prolly still woulda bought mine even after seeing that...hehe.

Yea, great video. Nice job guys. I've "been there, done that" on one too many things mentioned as well, lol.

When the door lock actuators are mentioned to replace the heavy, original style solenoids, is this kit from DMC Parts NW what is meant:

(The photo doesn't load for some reason, that's why I ask...)

Yeah, the door actuators from DMCNW are great. I installed them on mine, and they are super lightweight.

    +1

But you will need to modify a stock door lock unit with relays to get the two wire driver for actuators. I think you can buy the kit of relays when you buy the actuators. The actuators require driving one wire with 12 volts and the other ground, then reverse to unlock.
