    McLaren production now outstrips DeLorean

I like to think of the McLaren enterprise as the modern day DeLorean story in terms of creating a car, and factory, from scratch. Of course the comparison doesn't bear much investigation as they are completely differently funded and McLaren has an enviable racing history, but you know what I mean. Even the logo fonts are similar.

But, there have now been 10,000 McLarens built, pipping DeLoreans nominal 9200 this past quarter.

wouldn't it have been nice to see this in 1982

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

10,000 units in how many years? DMCL built ~83xx in a very short time frame. Congrats McLaren, not an easy task.

These are all "suits." Where are the factory workers? Did they all dress up for this?
