    Starter wiring troubles

Getting frustrated I can't seem to figure this out, and doesn't seem to match the other cars we have here.

Mid 5000 vin, laying the engine harness back on, I've got the main power wire to the starter, then up to the jump start post, two other small wires headed to the starter. Then I've got 3 main bigger brown power wires to the alternator, but nothing else in site to head to the starter, how's the power from the battery get to the car itself? My other cars have brown power wires to the starter as well, none to be found on this car, did earlier cars have a jumper wire from the starter to the alt I'm missing?
I'm sure it's one of those simple things you beat your head on for no reason.
    Thanks

Am I correct about earlier cars being different? Everything else here is a bit later. My book seems to lack a photo, and someone's played with this harness before, I've been scratching my head

    Same with these wires? IMG_6208.jpg

Yes you need a second short jumper from the jump post to batt pos. In coil compartment. This is the 83 style without long alt lead over Intske.
