Thread: AC Accumulator

    My VIN:    01598

    AC Accumulator

    My Delorean is Vin Number 01598, which means old style AC accumulator. I was planning on replacing this. Can you buy the old style somewhere? What do i Need if im buying the new type?

    My VIN:    Former owner of 1098

    Club(s):   (DCF)

    The early style accumulator is NLA, so most early vin owners end up converting to the later style setup. Unfortunately this means you will also need a longer low side hose as well.

    This is also a good time to add the High Pressure switch and purge valve to increase the overall safety of your system.

    Then i guess you need to make some wires. Where do they connect to?

    I heard that Hervey doesn't have them anymore either. I believe another forum member called to ask and he confirmed it.
