starter clean up or rebuild

Ok I definitely see a difference between both my starters now. How do I wire these up?

John, with the Eagle starter both of the thin gauge wires can be spliced together and attached to the smaller posts. Or the bullet connection can be re-wired with a ring terminal and attached to the small post. When I did mine, I wired both thin gauge wires together, and soldered to larger single wire lead.

So just to be clear, three thin wires (red/white, blue/yellow, grey/yellow)to small post, and two thick red wires to large post?

Correct, I forgot there were two wires on that original ring terminal. So all three wires can be combined onto a single ring terminal.

Still have to clean it all, install the starter and dpi exhaust. Busy at work all next week so hopefully by the end of March.
