    1 Wire Alternator Possible?

Is it possible to fit a GM style 1 wire alternator in a Delorean
and just hook it straight to the battery and bypass the battery light fail problem?

This is a response i got from John Hervey about the subject
"Yes, But stand a higher chance of burning out the regulator. If you don’t go thru the battery light bulb on the dash ( no led ) then you won’t have a battery light to show the alternator is working or not. Also the bulb acts like a ballast resistor for the regulator."
