Hey bro, got any good bushing?

I meant to post about this a while back. I was going to buy the proper steering column bushing and cut it to make the install easier as others have done. But first, I wanted to see if a similar non-DMC bushing existed. I found "top hat grommets" on eBay. They're for hydroponic setups for growing weed. The seller will reassure you that your bushings will come in nondescript packaging, which is good if you don't want your nosy neighbors to know you've got a bad steering column bushing. I popped this thing in just before Christmas and thought I'd wait a couple weeks to see how it works before posting about it. Then I just completely forgot about it. It's been in there for 3 trouble free months. Still works great. Anyway, they're 5 for $6 - including shipping. I think the 5/8" is what I used. The seller gave me an assortment, even though that wasn't an option.
