    Clearance of the steering rod

    Hi all,

Today I've identified some unusal clearance in the steering rod (pass through of the steering rod through the fiber body). Does any body know how to fix that? Is there a bushing installed?

Thanks a lot for your input.

There is a bushing that is replaceable.

Here are pics from within the car; with, and without the bushing:

Don't buy the DMCH OEM replacement, get an improved replacement from DMCNW, P.J. Grady, DeLorean.eu....etc.

Thanks a lot. Thought that it must be something like that. Also found a how-to guide on dmctalk.
