Way to prevent window from scratching by channel in door?

I noticed The channel inside of the door that the window goes up-and-down on. It has a very sharp edge on the top of it and my window is starting to get a scratch going up and down. Is anybody figured out something that they can wrap around the top of the channel that will stay there that will be a nice soft guard between the rough metal edge in the window?

Go to the dollar store and buy some Velcro strips. Use the soft/fluffy half. The strips will have an adhesive backing. Use that to stick them to the stainless inside the door. You need to remove the upper bracket for access. Same procedure as the one for replacing that felt rub strip. In fact, those Velcro strips are mentioned in that write-up.
