I can't imagine anything salvageable from this:

WARNING: have your tissue ready after seeing the bad shape this one is in.

    Jesus.

I'm pretty sure that has been burnt beyond the point of it even being considered a car anymore.

I don't know how they even got it there in one piece without it crumbling apart.

Meh, id be all in if it were only a manual.

Out of curiosity I went back to review the photos and couldn't even find one that definitively shows what type of transmission it has (had).

    EDIT:

Found it! It was like one of those where's waldo adventures.

Actual cash value $25,000, repair cost $25,000? Like to see the math on that one...

I'm amazed they actually took the time to photograph and list it.

Yes, it is/was Alex's car. He was at a few tech sessions.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Hmm, I'm very sorry to hear he lost everything. I hope he is ok. Those wildfires were a real tragedy.

    I'm genuinely curious:

-Why bother listing something that's so completely destroyed?

--Would anyone actually be interested in buying it, and why?

I thought this must have been an exaggeration before I clicked the link. You'd probably do better off building one from scratch.
