    wedding car

I am lending my car out for a wedding. The groom is asking about being able to put a few pom poms and a just married sign on it. I am guessing that regular scotch tape will be fine on the ss. Am I right? Is there any do's or don'ts I should be aware of?
Everytime I open the garage door, my car costs me a roll of toonies.

No sitting ON the car, especially the hood.

And watch out for clothing pins, and that seats won't be damaged.

You might want to check with your insurance company to check that you have coverage for that. As for scotch tape, it can be difficult to get the tape off later. The blue masking tape would be easier to remove.

Yep... I've used blue painters tape tons of time - easy to remove.

I've used the 3M picture hangers that stick on, then come of with the pull of a little tape "tongue" that is just under them. It will leave a little shiny spot which you can rub out with your finger.

I wouldn't be too worried. The owners manual states that it's okay to clean the stainless with gasoline or mineral spirits to deal with tar and road grime. I'm sure a little bit of goo gone on the stainless for scotch tape residue will be okay.

You can stick or glue anything to the stainless. Anything is removable with adhesive remover worst case.

Don't let them tape anything to painted parts, but especially not the black parts such as the louver or facia areas. OEM Louver paint is very fragile. The black parts of OE facias is not paint so it is easily stained. Even the silver part of the fascia is often loose at this point.
