Hello! Welcome!
I also got my car from Mike. As my old boss used to say "heck of a nice guy".
I'm going to the open house. Especially now that you've reminded me of it. I'll be the one showing up in a DeLorean.

If the above post was DeLorean related it should be noted that I don't know what I'm talking about.

Well, the trip to Chicagoland to pick up the car went well. My wife and I did some sightseeing for a few days, then arrived with a U-Haul on Saturday for the open house and to bring the car home. Mike and Jason did a great job with all the upgrades. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to meet everyone there as so much time was taken up with test driving the car, final tuning of the FI, and lunch! I wish we had had more time, but need to head back to NC, so we left around 4PM. Attached are a few pictures of the afternoon. Meeting Stephen Wynne was great, and he graciously autographed my sun visor. Thanks again to Mike Jason, and Steve for the help in loading up the car! The last picture is in my driveway after two long days of driving!

Glad to see another in NC. You are a bit away from the "hub" of the NC club in Lexington where at least two tech sessions are held per year. You can find evidence of past events in the car show and events section here on DMCTalk or my Facebook page called North Carolina DeLorean Tech Session.

Funny you mention that. I've been on vacation at Atlantic Beach for the past week now. But heading back tomorrow. Visited a DeLorean owner down here earlier in the week and scheduled to visit one in Raleigh tomorrow on the way back. I've had multiple owners drive from as far away as Louisiana to my tech sessions! Only about 4 hours for you, they are worth it! Anyway, enjoy the car!
