As many of you are aware, Gulfcoast Motorworks has been contemplating the sale of one of our finest Deloreans in stock, #6041. This car was once owned by a well known Delorean enthusiast and approximately 5-6 years ago, became property of Gulfcoast Motorworks. The car is by far one of the nicest Deloreans out there.

This will definitely be a collectors car. By no means a daily driver and it will be priced accordingly. I am still working on the overall plan for listing it and the final pricing. I will be posting more pictures soon.

    Have a great day.

Oh but of course! Still in one hell of a awsome condition but dude I'd have to drive it. I love driving DeLorean, if i had a second one like this car it would be on occasions.

    Mike,

Definitely interested in this. Let us know where the numbers fall when you have the sale price finalized. This would make a great addition to our build program due to the documented miles on the car. We would purchase and part out the chassis entirely to other concourse build owners or sell the complete frame/power train directly back to you for your future concourse client needs.

Wait... what?? I suppose business is business but it sure seems like a shame to part out a pristine car with 500 miles on it.

While millage technically doesn't matter on our builds as it is essentially starting at "zero" some clients ask for low mile documented body such as this. As you can imagine this increases the cost substantially for know physical gain.

I must say that I never imagined this car to be sold in this way, still trying to wrap my head around the concept. Knowing all the hours put into the restoration and the attention to detail, i had no idea a car of this magnitude would be thought of as a "parts car".

The Delorean community surprises me once again!! I will let you know Josh when I have formulated the correct pricing on this particular car. Im not opposed to selling it knowing what its potential use will be just a bit concerned knowing its amazing pedigree (The stories I have read and heard about this particular car).
