Is one somehow better than the other?
And where do you get the vibration absorbing u joint?
my goal is to take out the slop and make the steering as responsive as tight as possible.
thanks in advance

81' gas flap. Sept build. 14k miles. Mostly original. Updating things...
I had mine replaced at DMCMW last year and so far, so good. I haven't driven one with the Grady one to compare it to, but it seems perfectly fine. I haven't had any problems with it.
Rob's steering racks are refurbished originals. He uses better components than what the originals had. The ones from DMC are brand new.

Another option, though pricey, is to get an electric steering rack.

DeLorean Europe is at least one place to get a power steering kit/rack:

1. So its 395 + 250 - 250 once old rack sent in?
2. Can I get the absorbing ujoint by itself? Column seems fine
3. Does your rack take all the looseness out of the steering so it's tight? ( as long as it's my current rack responsible for the looseness. Which seems to be.
Thanks

2. No, it requires complete replacement of the steering upper and lower u-joint assemblies with intermediate shaft.
3. Yes, within the rack and tie rod ends only, Not the U-joints though. If they have play, they would need replacement too.
