Also, the grey connector on the cold start valve - does that mean the BLUE connector is on the control pressure regulator?

The cold start valve is with bigger circle. the plug on it is GREY but it should be blue. The smaller circle is the plug for the control pressure regulator. IF IT IS BLUE then those connectors MUST BE swapped!

This may indicate you have a hot starting issue. Typically those plugs are swapped FOR A MOMENT during start up to get the CSV to fire. Upon starting they are immediately swapped back. Leaving the grey plug on the CSV will cause all kinds of fuel issues.

This is what you should have all terminating into the engine harness:
Black - idle speed motor
Blue - cold start valve
Grey - control pressure regulator
Double check someone hasn't splices in a "light blue" plug. Those should all be properly heat shrinked right to the main harness.

There is also a hose coming of off the control pressure regulator, secured with a red hose clamp. The hose Is not conected to anything though
