    Purple wire with black stripe?
    It plugs into one of the two horns.

    My VIN:    6524 & 1988 Lotus Esprit. Previously 10801 & 3772.

    I left that unplugged on purpose when I sold it to you. There was a thread about it cause couldn't find where the problem was. If both horns are plugged in neither work. Plug one at a time and that one will work, both were getting 12v, I replaced both horns with new and cleaned the grounds, couldn't ever figure that issue out.

    Mine was exactly the same , never got to figure it out what was wrong , just left one unplugged and it works ..there must be a reason why ..
