My prospective buyer fell through.
Added the Pre-Purchase inspection from DMC Northwest
http://www.vulpeslibertas.com/DMC/
Toby's comments:
A summary of the negative findings follows:
RH tie rod boot open
Minor oil leaks on engine from oil pressure sender, cam cover plate
A/C is inoperative – no drive belt (missing)
Oil leaks from transmission – output shaft seals, selector shaft seal
A few minor dents and scratches in the stainless steel outer body panels
Front and rear fascias have faded paint, some minor distortion on the front
Interior wear – seat covers, instrument cluster binnacle are showing cracks
LH power window is inoperative
HVAC mode switch needs to be rebuilt
Roof seals cracked – these seals are primarily for wind noise
Windshield washer is inoperative
Brake fluid flush is recommended – LH front caliper dragging a little bit
Generally, the DeLorean is in fair to good shape, and is all there. An excellent candidate for a minor restoration. In the inspection report, the items checked as OK are all in good shape, and functional where indicated. There are “normal updates” that could be done, such as replacing the original plastic coolant tank with an upgraded stainless-steel tank.

Send him an e-mail, he replied quickly when I inquired in the last week of December. Car was still for sale then.

His email is on one of the sale pages. I got a reply from him through that, not a PM here. Your mileage may vary.

Car is sold. Sorry about the delayed response. I wanted to make sure the deal closed before closing the ad.
