Does it have to be NOS? Or just a used fender that does not have a hole welded up?

Seems very unlikely anyone other than dmc would have a fender to such specifications

I am not affiliated with Delorean Midwest in anyway.
My understanding is that all cars had some amount of blending done to the panels at the factory. If you are attempting to match the existing factory untouched grain on your car you'll have to do some level of blending to get it match nicely. Just something you may want to consider before spending extra on NOS vs a used fender. You could spend the difference in price on a professional re-grain of your whole car if "perfection" is what you're really seeking.
