Have not posted in a while because the car after 10+ yrs finally "gave up" and realized after owning them since 82 I was not going to give up. Well its RARE I drive when it over 85 degrees and I guess after 3 weeks of 90-105 and no attention the car decided to not start in front of company non the less.
Oh hell no.... I change into my get seriously dirty gear and started the ABCs most of us have memorized.
No fuel pump sound yet strong cranking. Pressure plate no resistance. Jump the rpm.... Hmmmm... Emptied the front trunk area, removed the shock tower bar and cleaned the pump wiring harness with a round file for female and s paper for the male. VAROOM
I then went into a long winding rant directed at the car that would embarrass a rap audience and drunken sailors. My "visitors" were like "are you alright???" Oh yeah I said...... You would have to understand the colorful and never boring history of throwing time, money, sweat and blood at this car that only a Delorean owner "well Panteras and anything British" would understand.
So as I was told 10 thousand times.. Clean you grounds and may I add CLEAN THE FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR AND CHECK THE WIRING. JIMJAM
