    Morgan 3 wheeler

Anyone been lucky enough to drive in one of these? They are starting to produce them again and will be importing them stateside soon.

For those of you that don't know about them they have 3 wheels, 2 in front and 1 in the rear, and open cockpit and a motorcycle eng located at the very front of the "car" a V twin.

Much as I like the old Morgans, how can that even come close to meeting federal safety regs to be sold here? Side impact crash!

In relation, I just read that the Elise and Exige cant be sold here anymore because they don't have "smart" airbags.

Perhaps, knowing Morgan infamously long factory delivery times, these are just cars that were ordered in 1958 that are just being delivered now

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

I'd almost be willing to bet that they're classified as motorcycles instead of cars. If Aptera, Can-Am, Tesla, and the likes can do it, why not Morgan? After all, it has 3 wheels and is powered by a conventional motorcycle engine.

There is one that comes by a local Cars & Coffee. Pretty cool bike/car.

    Could be.

There will undoubtedly be one at the Atlanta British Car Fayre tomorrow. I must remember to ask the owner.

I could then follow that up by telling him that I had heard that they are building “new build” 1958 Morgan 3-wheelers and see if his head explodes.
