Bosch 909s are all over ebay, amazon, etc.

At the local parts store try this:

    DELPHI FE0015
Or tell them the application is a 77 porsche 924
Rock auto lists this part under 1981 delorean.

I should get the new style dmch by Wednesday.

    I didn't think to look under 1981 though. I got 1982 so that's what I looked at.

Only problem with the all in one is you can't carry a spare unfortunately.

you can get spare parts if you contact James.

My combo unit died on me with about 20k mi and that was the offering.

I ended up just buying a tahoe fuel pump + sender local and dropping it in.

One year while driving from Gatlinburg over the mountain to Harrahs Casino my pump started acting up. I took it out and let her cool for about 30 min and all was well. I found a matching pump at an Advance Auto parts in Cherokee NC. I didn't install it till I got home since mine was fine(just got overheated) but the point is if Advance in that place has them then surely a little investigating will yield one.

The secret is you don't ask for a DeLorean fuel pump, you ask for a pump for a1980 Porsche 911 (or whatever the cross reference is, I can't remember)

If I simply replaced the fuel with an oem style, would I not run into the same problem again?

well to the same effect that if you replace your tires you will eventually need to replace them again.

the fuel pump is a wearable item, especially if you run the tank on the bottom half frequently and/or live in a hot climate.

Do you mean you kept the DMCH combo and only replaced the fuel pump and sender, or went back to OEM style with a tahoe pump?
