Yes, those connector symbols are all over the place. Based on the diagram I'd guess the dot in the diagram is a bundle of stubbed purple wires grouped into a crimp connector with lots of black tape around it - someplace.

Not seeing it in my elec. bay. Maybe up behind the parcel shelf bulkhead, maybe somewhere along the center console.

See if your P-wire connector female has 12V and whether the connection is clean and tight. With any luck you won't need to go looking for the dot.

Guys. GUYS!!! So I finally go and pull my grille.

If you were me, what would you want to see when you pull the grille?

closer...closer.. would you want to see THIS?! :

NO WAY. Now my first thought was "I'm going to plug in that plug and the car is going to explode. It HAS to be unplugged for some reason ...right?"

So I get ready, and get the battery connected, get my fire extinguisher ...look at the door lights, and plug in the plug.

I am the new owner of a functioning trunk light!!! I'll watch it, but amazing.

    I am stoked. Thank you!

And my tangent for interior lights, They ALSO work again!! I got a pack of 200 diodes and then using another users photos, I cut the existing diode open and soldered in a new one!

Those aren't my final solder joints. Don't hate

I feel like freakin Tesla. I CAN FIX ANYTHING hahaha.

Funny, my car was the same way last year when I got it. Thrunk light not working. Same plug as in your car was disconnected. Found it when replacing my window washer pump. Also my antenna was not working. It did not have a fuse in the inline fuseholder. Don't you love it when things are that simple?
