1994 BMW 840ci. Fixed it up. Drove it. Answered a lot of questions then sold it on EBay to get my dream project. #10144

I sold a 1948 CJ2A and then put another pile of cash with it to purchase #5482.

I decided to get back into DeLorean ownership in October 2014. Any extra money that came in, went towards the DeLorean Fund. I had a 2009 Mazda 6 as a daily driver. In 2015, I leased a new 2016 Mazda 6 and sold the 2009 to my downstairs neighbor. The funds from the sale went into the DeLorean Fund. I was able to get my current DeLorean in December 2016. So it took a little over 2 years to save up for my DeLorean.

Well, it wasn't a car I sold - but I did sell two guitars that realised £3000 to go towards parts!!

I guess in a roundabout way, I sold a 1975 Corvette Stingray and a 2000 HD Sportster. I sold them both to fund my small sandwich shop in the startup years, one each year.. telling myself I'll buy another toy when it started making money. Then when it started to turn a profit and I knew I wouldn't have to risk selling off, I bought the DeLorean. With a little help from some inheritance.
