    My car goes closed loop in about 15 seconds from a cold start. I don't have the WOT/temp sensor wire hooked up to the lambda ECU. I have a "power" switch that sets 13 AFR if I want to get more power. But I really never use that power setting.

    That makes sense if you've got those disconnected.

    I just read this thread and I'm filing it away for later. I'm almost done with a frame-off restoration and it seems like my idle is a bit more erratic than it was before I started. I am going to have to check all the switches and sensors to make sure they are working, and if they are, I might try something like this. Won't attempt it until I've confirmed everything else though with a smoke machine, timing light, and fuel pressure gauge though.
