If you don't have one in your kit, the extension with electrical tape works like a charm. Also the #44 tool is only $10

I have use a simple cap from a big felt marker, for alignment tool. Worked perfectly. I saw that on youtube.
I also add a tube of Lubrimoly to the transmission fluid. Shift so smoothly now. Incredible.
