New remanufactured left fenders in our future?

It would appear someone is going to make it happen!

(And cue the left fender hoarders panic sell)

I know we joke about them, but I think they are closer to reality than everyone believes.

Otherwise, great news on the left front fenders!

DeLorean part prices can fluctuate much like the volatile stock market. On that note we are graciously offering 400.00 USD for used left front fenders before the market value drops below this to assist those relying on the sale of said fenders for their retirement.

Where is the formed hole for the marker lights in those new fenders?

ROI for the tooling cost is probably $1000 per unit assuming only 100 get produced. not including the raw stainless price. I would still estimate these NEW fenders would still likely be priced at $2000 if not more.

He is just at the beginning stages, but he seems to like where they are and they are optimistic. In any event I'm glad someone is stepping up to the plate. If last year is a benchmark for future crumpled DeLoreans, then our fender days are numbered.

It's funny..the number one question I get during car shows is " What's that little door on the hood?" Which leads me into an explanation of the original hood design, why it was deleted, and the other subtle changes as production progressed.

    It's definitely a conversation starter.

I had the same question about why the fender didn't look right, before I realized it was a stamping test piece.

Another common question at shows is " Is it hard to get parts for it?" . This is the best aspect of these cars in my opinion. The availability of parts. ...All good things..
