Clarifying some details about the past two DCS Events

There has been some recent misinformation about DCS being spread around on FaceBook
and although I have never "participated" in FB, there are members of the DCS Team that
monitor FB and let me know when DCS related posts are being made.

While I am fine with everyone having their own opinions about DCS, I would prefer folks
do not try to re-write facts and details about DCS [especially DCS 2016 and DCS 2018].
Although details have been posted here and elsewhere by myself and the DCS Team,
some folks still seem to "get it wrong", such as easily verifiable facts like room pricing.

Keep in mind the facts below are just quick summary details of DCS 2016 and DCS 2018
quickly compiled to dispute the misinformation that has been posted recently, such as
room pricing, event pricing and lists of "New" VIP Guest Speakers at DCS 2016 and 2018.
Other issues may be subject to interpretation, but most of the info is self-explanatory.

DCS 2016 - Recap of what was "New" for DCS 2016

DCS 2016 was one of the lowest cost DCS events in recent memory, with $99 room nights
and only a $25 Event Registration cost. Not exactly "break-the-bank" event pricing.
All DeLoreans were able to park indoors, in air conditioned convention center for the
entire event, and although enter/exit was limited, no one was "forced" to park indoors.

New VIP Guest Speakers for DCS 2016

    - Dr. Giancarlo Perini (Keynote), worked at Ital Design and a consultant to DMC in the 1970's
    - Stephen Arrington, author - "In DeLorean's Shadow", sole surviving DeLorean trial defendant
    - Colleen Booth, personal secretary for JZD (DMC years) from mid-70's to early 80's
    - Ronnie Arnold, one of the 50K Mile Endurance Car Drivers (using early production DeLoreans)
    - George Levy, AutoWeek journalist who attended DeLorean Junket for DeLorean Initial Release
    - Klaus Steiner, representing the DeLorean World Team and their tremendous accomplishments
    - Chris Nicholson*, presented A Tale of Two Legends - Restorations of VIN...502 and VIN...530
    - Rob Grady*, co-presented A Tale of Two Legends - Restorations of VIN...502 and VIN...530
    - Michael Scheffe, Construction Coordinator for Back to the Future and BTTF II
    - Steve Concotelli, Executive Producer, OUTATIME: Saving the DeLorean Time Machine (movie)

In addition to new guests, there were nearly a dozen returning guests, with new presentations.
In addition to VIP guests, there were several "owner" speakers in the break-out rooms too.
    * indicates DCS "regulars" that gave a presentation for the first time, on these topics.

DCS 2018 - Recap of what was "New" for DCS 2018

DCS 2018 had $99 room nights until 2 weeks before event and no roommate "limit" restrictions.
Event Registration under $99. No Dinners required. Not exactly "break-the-bank" event pricing.
All DeLoreans were able to park indoors, in air conditioned convention center, Friday through
Sunday (Noon), and although enter/exit was limited, no one was "forced" to park indoors.

New VIP Guest Speakers for DCS 2018

    - Hillel Levin - author of JZD Bio - Grand Delusions
    - Patrick Wright - author of JZD Bio - "On A Clear Day..."
    - John Lamm - author of DMC book, Stainless Steel Illusion
    - Wolfgang Hank (DeLorean World Tour Team - Team Leader)
-- Note: Wolfgang had 6 different presentations at convention
    - Tamir Ardon** - Executive Producer - Framing DeLorean documentary
-- Note: Opening Scene (7 minutes), Out-takes and Behind the Scenes
    - Jordan Livingston** - Producer, Living the Dream documentary
-- Note: 40 minute preview of Jordan's DeLorean owner documentary

-- Note: Extended presentation after Full Presidential Pardon
    - Michael Klastorin - unit publicist for BTTF II and BTTF III
    - Tim Caravia - Tim's BTTF Hill Valley Creations in LEGO

In addition to new VIP guests, there were several "owner" speakers in the break-out rooms too.
and a half dozen returning VIPs. All returning VIP guests had updated or new presentations.
** indicates DCS "repeat guest" giving a new presentation for the first time, on these topics.
