    Question Non-standard radio antenna?

Has anyone used a non-standard radio antenna?

I just saw this and wondering if anyone else has used something like this... www.amzn.to/2zfy0ht

I tried one in a car a few years ago. My recollection is that it was better than no antenna at all, but not by much. It's probably OK if you are near the city, not so good out in the sticks. You have to "hide" it somewhere not behind metal, either stuck to the inside glass or inside the front fascia/grille.

Those things are useless. Like dave said, very little effect.
