    Traveling to France next Summer

Julee and I are potentially going to France next summer (early June). We plan to be there for a couple of weeks, ending at the 24 hours of Lemans Race (our son works for Michelin and will be likely working the race). We've never been so we'll probably do some of the typical tourist stops (i.e. a day or three in Paris, Wine country, etc. but are open to suggestions or meet-ups if there are any owners in the area. We had a blast doing this sort of thing in Australia a few years ago, and I'm aware of a few French owners on the forum here although I'm not sure who is convenient to the North/Central region. We're open to suggestions!

Dave, are you and the wife history buffs? It would be worth driving out to see Normandy.

Be sure you try some macarons, they're gluten free so Julee can have some too!

Another thing, there was a car-centric bookshop somewhere in Paris that was kind of neat, I'll see if I can find the name and address.

(I think it was this one: https://www.librairie-passionautomobile.com )

(Wait, no, it was this one. http://www.librairie-auto-moto.com I thought I remembered the storefront being blue. I found a bunch of random DeLorean stuff there, which you probably already have but it's probably still cool to poke around in )

    Dave,

I spent 3 weeks in central France in 2004 for work, but every weekend we went Chateau visiting. The Loire valley has many. I would highly recommend Chambord if you get the chance.

Chambord is a great castle but the most famous is château de Versailles, at 20 miles from Paris

Yeah - looks like we'll travel around the northern portion of the country (Paris to Normandy coast) and end at LeMans for the race. Arrangements are in process!
