I exchanged correspondence with Jason Torchinsky at Jalopnik briefly and they're researching it as a story, trying to get a hold of the owner. Shouldn't be a problem since the guy seems to live for the spotlight. I doubt they'll come up with any definitive conclusions but maybe they'll find some interesting facts by shining a light on it.

Why is everyone lying about this? I literally carried the fire extinguisher outside to him. He never yelled at anyone, and nobody called the cops on him. Did he seriously make that story up? I’m in shock. He didn’t seem like the lying type.
