Not a typical garage, true...but far from a franchised "dealership"...

Story made it to various news outlets, including the local news here in Utah, which includes a brief interview with the owner:

Something else that doesn't quite add up about all this - he goes on and on about how his car only had 8,000 miles on it, and the now-deleted KSL listing made it sound like it had been placed in storage in 1982, but the pic when he first bought it had a TN plate in a style that wasn't issued until the mid-2000s and a slogan "YESITIS" that strongly implies the previous owner was driving it around often enough to get asked that question.
The ad also mentioned the car having a new timing belt. Uhhh... Thinking somebody who doesn't know whether his car has a belt or a chain probably doesn't know about angle drives and their proclivities for failure, either. Wondering if maybe the car actually had a lot more miles than he thought and maybe that's a factor in whatever's going on here...
As stated earlier, this guy is full of crap and has no real clue what is going on. I've followed some of his statements and retraction and coupled with story from guys close to him, this is all shady.
Soundkillr was here.
Those skinny pants he wears all the time will be a big hit in prison. He will finally have the attention he seeks so much.
