    The question was more in regard to your wording.

    Pressing and depressing can be interpreted as the same Action.

    Using the term Releasing the switch would have been a better choice.

    In your explanation, pressing the switch yields 775. Releasing the switch allows an internal value to change thus Increasing RPM.

    Just making sure I interpreted what you said earlier correctly.

    pushing = 775rpm,
    releasing = higher speed
