I think the nose is too pointed for a mustang, plus judging by the size of the headlights, its narrower than a mustang.

I did an image search of mustangs with 4 round headlights. It’s not a mustang. The spacing between the headlight locations is to narrow. But the quad round headlights would indicate its an older car.

Given the vin specificity, I would more suspect that the insurance company got the pictures mixed up. With all the other fire related car loses, mixing up the pictures would be likely.
