Good work. Yes it works to have the relays ground the unused side so it can work with actuators or solenoids. You may want to replace the stock ground wire in the harness which is about 19 AWG to a 16 AWG. But it does work with my actuators without that wire improvement.

In all my Delorean internet browsing, I never ran into this modification. I intended for it to work with actuators only.

This modification only uses the two 12volt wires that went to the solenoids. No ground needed only polarity reversing.
