Thread: wired new stereo now center vents dont open

    My VIN:    6982

    wired new stereo now center vents dont open

    wired up a new head unit for the stereo, the blower fans are certainly working but the center vents wont open to push air. what gives?

    Did you manually close them? You can shut them off. Take a pic and post it please

    The actual vent itself and into the vent also.

    On the end of the vents there are rotation switches to close off the vents.

    Also did you reinstall the vent sleeves that attach to the back blower box to the baxk of the vent? They can be a pain to get right.

    yeah they were in really good, i just took them off for the video

    See the 2 rotors on the far left vent and far right vent? They shut the vents off.

    yup, the actual vents just dont open. im thinking i disconnected a ground somewhere.
