    Good idea. Probably lots of good uses for these. I replaced both dummies with these switches. I use one for turning on/off all door & interior lights during daylight shows or street-meets (I like the door light on at night). Also, helpful when just working on the car with the doors up while in my own garage.

    I helped my friend Dave Tavers with this exact thing. I will let him lost here with his results. The DMCH will not work. We ended up gutting a used window switch and installing a single pole double throw switch inside.

    I think you were on the right track with a relay...
    I looked at Dimitri's thread and saw the switch. It's SPDT.
    Since you want as original as possible, you might try this:

    Yep that’s what I think I’m going to do. Keeps the stock look and if the switch should ever go bad it’s easy to replace.

    Hello all !


    Yes I confirm, you need a SPDT switch, 3 wires, center for +12V right for radio and left for bluetooth mode.

    ON / OFF switch and defrost switch not working.
